Grants
A holistic vision for empowering nonprofits

The Salesforce.com Foundation has given more than $19 million in grants since its inception in 2000. The Foundation's annual granting program focuses on empowering organizations that have a proven commitment to our 1/1/1 model and that are using technology in innovative ways. As an extension of the 1/1/1 model, the Foundation is committed to providing assistance beyond the grant to the annual grantees in the form of committed pro bono support from teams of employees. The Foundation also supports the time our employees contribute to their local communities through the employee inspired granting programs outlined below.

Annual competitive grants

The Foundation executes an annual grant round targeted at organizations using technology in an innovative way, with a focus on those who have demonstrated a commitment to our 1/1/1 model. While we do not accept unsolicited proposals, we invite you to explore our product donation program and volunteering initiatives to find out how you can kick off a 1/1/1 relationship with us. Read about the 2010 grant round here.

Other granting programs

The Salesforce.com Foundation is inspired by the enthusiasm, energy and possibilities of young people. That's why we support youth empowerment through education and technology. BizAcademy and the Africa Education Fund offer opportunities to help underserved youth gain real-world business skills and an academic education, respectively.
