10 attendees employees and loved ones participated in the first-ever Foundation activity organized for the Hongkong Salesforce Office with Crossroads Foundation*. 

After arrival, we were given a briefing about the history of Crossroads, and then were sent off to work!  Some of us were sent to package up computers, while others went to prepare furniture and equipment for a container to be shipped to the Middle East.

At lunch we reconvened in the 'slum,' an environment that represents how many of the worlds poor live.  We had a typical 'slum' lunch, with white rice, dhal, and stewed vegetables, and we ate with our hands!  It was delicious and a great way to bring the team together to think about the work we were doing and the crisis being felt around the world, particularly in these down economic times.
