On 4th June 2009 Alim Uddin, who took part in Salesforce.com Foundation's 2007 UK BizAcademy program, was astonished to find he was the winner of the London Learning & Skills Council's 'Skills for Life' Learner of the Year Award.

The Award was presented by former England rugby star player Matt Dawson, at a fabulous dinner event at the Natural History Museum in London.

Alim has been on an amazing journey since attending BizAcademy as a star student from partner organization Landmark Training. He was initially offered a four week internship which was extended to 12 months and he has just been offered his first permanent job at Salesforce.com in the Training Team.

He worked hard, took every opportunity to learn, made friends and earned respect. The award and the job are extremely well deserved.

Salesforce.com Foundation's UK BizAcademy partner, Landmark Training, were also winners at the Learning & Skills Council Awards, landing the Provider of the Year Award.

This is an incredible achievement and testament to them being an outstanding educational provider.
